The girls and I all went to Midian City for some RP times! I've never really been a neko, but we dressed up on a whim, and I actually look kind of cute as one. (I'm the one in the blue in all the photos).

We ran all the way through the city into Leviathan, which is known for this militaristic group called the UAC. They're completely against hybrids of any kind. Hybrids are required to have proper papers or be owned by someone and have their master around.

We were RPing as young, 13-15 year old children who had decided to do a bit of exploring. We ended up in this diner, when a bunch of UAC guys came in and decided to do a random ID check. Needless to say, since we live in Midian where you don't need such things, we didn't have anything on us.

We got ushered into a corner, guns pointed at us and everything.

Scary T-T

The furry-esque woman, named Nyx was trying to get the soldiers to be merciful since we were only kids.

We were told to get on our knees with our hands behind our heads (Best pose we had xD). But in the end, they decided to be merciful and lead us out of the town.

We kind of really wanted to get arrested so we came up with this plan that as soon as we got outside we'd run, saying that we didn't really trust that they'd take us out safely.

So we did. I was to go straight...but as soon as we ran, Ari got a gun put to her head, with the threat of shooting her if any of us moved. Aliza got shot in the arm, so we stopped running.

We got executed in the end. Sad sad :(. Buuut because we were so young, Midian city is going to hear about it in the newspaper. Lots of RP will hopefully be stimulated by our deaths!

I'm really excited to go back...we have to be different characters, but it'll be fun ^-^

Really Weird Second Life Glitch...

Yeah...I don't know what was going on, but it made for some really awesome screen shots :x

The Path of an Artist - V

I volunteered to do yet another show at Asagao as musician. I will let the following pictures speak for themselves!

Sitting at the koto at the beautiful Asagao SIM!

I got everyone when they were off-sync unfortunately -- Everyone seemed to be floating more than usual. Perhaps they had a cup of our famous tea ^-^

I always catch her in her shoe base! -giggles-

A look out into the audience.

I named my shamisen! This is Kanon-chan and me.

It was a very uplifting performance :3

And for a photoshopped picture:

This is my current profile picture!

Another Day...

Just some more randoms from today to show you :)

This was actually from two days ago. Ari pointed out that this guy's bellybutton totally looks like a third nipple -- and it does!

A ridiculous tree I found in the middle of nowhere! It's a bit gruesome >_< This one kind of makes me think that the center of the obi is really my spine -- reminds me of a ham bone or something XD;..

We took a soak in the onsen:
Me looking, to use Meimi's words, "chill."

The Thinker.

Looking un-enthused.

Emo? I was just seeing what all the poses looked like -- they've improved since the last time we've visited the onsen :D

All the girls!

Meimi, camming somewhere, not knowing I was taking such an unflattering picture.

....No words. This says it all.

Stephy and me :D

Sitting in the magical cave that Meimi found!

Stephy and I again...yeah.

Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger....

badger, badger, badger, badger, musshRROOOM MUSSSHRROOOOM!

snnnaaaaaAAAKKKEEEEE, sssnnnaaAAAAKKKKEEEE....

Oh, It's a snaaaaake!

Yeah...it's special. Good thing I had those glitch pants on :P

The Path of an Artist - IV

After a long absence from activities at the okiya, Okaasan encouraged me to do a performance. And this time, I wouldn't be musician. I really don't know why I get so nervous over something so simple as telling a story, but I suppose that shows I care. I found out that the performances that I played musician on do not count to my requirements, so I am at square one with that. But now that I have my first performance out of the way, I feel rededicated to the okiya. It was fun! This performance will be quite memorable, and it will be a story I will most definitely share with my future imouto, should I reach that stage in my career.

My First Performance - Asagao - March 28, 2009

Guests:

My dear friends Ella, and Ari...Ari's the furry one. Oh wait, Ella's furry too XD

Geo-san is a wonderful man. He listens to the stories intently, and his reactions encourage you to continue. Behind him you can see Soleil-chan, a new minarai, Okaasan, Ella and Ari, and Ichisumi-san.

The Yuki Onna, or the Snow Lady, made an appearance. She generally loves chaotic stories, and the story I told had much trickery and violence. Her comments are always witty and humorous :).
Also, the Maiko on her left is Ichisumi-san, and I met her about an hour before the performance at the Tenran kimono store. She is a very kind person, and I look forward to seeing her in the future!

Ookini, everyone!

The Performance:
Here I am waiting to begin.

Meimi-chan did this performance with me. I was really happy that she could participate!

The performance went very well. There was a little bit of an issue with a greifer during poor Meimi-chan's performance, but it was taken care of, and Meimi persevered!

Meimi and I after the performance.

Looking up from under the small Koi pond.

After the show, I used my tips to buy some new kimono. Before the floor rezzed in the Pontocho district, the water looked very beautiful, so I took the time to capture this image.

And for some fixed up pictures:
Meimi and I, together at the Koi pond.

Me, donning one of my new kimono inside of the Okiya this morning.

Thank you to everyone who made this performance a success.

Ookini!
