Adoption?

A friend, Aridana Howl, and I decided a while ago to try to get ourselves adopted. We had just gotten some adorable bunny avis from the Creator's Stamp Rally event. If you don't know about that campaign, it's really amazing.

A bunch of very talented Japanese brands come together and each contribute a limited edition item to give away for free in exachange for a stamp card stamped with a seal from 20 separate locations across Second Life. Stamp cards are obtained by buying things you normally want to buy from these brands and are usually included in some, if not all, items up for purchase. Once you have a card all stamped, you just turn it in at the headquarters SIM and exchange it for your brand new item! Some of my favorite brands that participate include Edelweiss, Sweetest Goodbye, YumYum, Le Petit Prince, and Curious kitties.

Anyway...back to the topic. These bunny avis were so adorable, that we thought we would make some very adorable furry children for a family. Plus, we thought it would be a fun adventure to attempt together :).

So here's what we looked like!

These two were potential pictures for our adoption panel -- so the parents could see what we looked like. We decided to use the second one. I'm on the left, and Ari's on the right.

Me:
Bunny avi (Winter CSR '08) - Yum Yum
Doll (Summer CSR '08) - Yum Yum
Hair - Elsie
Shirt/shorts/socks - Honey Kitty
Shoes - Shiny Things

Ari:
Bunny avi (Winter CSR '08) - YumYum
Hair - 69
Dress - YumYum
Stockings - Not sure...>.>
Notebook (Winter CSR '08) - Gritty Kitty
Catty Boots (Winter CSR '08) - Sweetest Goodbye

Us a dorky photo studio...lol. The only thing different about my oufit is that my hair is the CSR Winter '08 item by Zero Style.

Aw. :3

Adoption Center lulz:

This guy...needs to get some nicer things. Those jeans are ridiculous...and kind of ugly D:. The amount of Bling on the Dad necklace is icky X_X. And the traditional SL guy-shape issue of "Hey guys, let's have really giant shoulders and iiitttyy biiitttyy hips!" plagues him. T-T

Quite possibly a worse offender -- Prim Baby. Poorly constructed Prim Baby... I mean, don't get me wrong -- I'm not a builder, and I probably couldn't make something as nice as that, but honestly, I would be ashamed to call that my child. I hope she didn't have to pay for it X_X
